Scott Hardy – Associate

Scott has over 20 years work experience predominately within the Oil and Gas industry in both technical and senior management roles and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Professional Accounting.

He now operates Model Business Analysis as the principal consultant Financial Analyst, providing services in financial modelling, management reporting, financial analysis, project evaluation and cost tracking through specially developed financial modelling programs. Consulting to small to medium enterprises, he delivers services over a broad range of industries including oil and gas, energy, commercial property developments, civil contracting, resource mining and tourism developments.

Scott has extensive practical experience in the development of financial working models through the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including: DCF modeling, economic evaluation of company hedging positions, national royalty and tax schemes and unpaid capital positions, performance and sensitivity analysis, project valuation cost tracking models, and depreciation schedules.

As a consultant project manager on major civil construction projects Scott has recently been involved in the Beenyup Water Trial and Red Hill Auditorium projects. He has been involved in many facility upgrades and new installations.  His practical experience in writing HSE procedures and specific work methodology such as; commissioning start up procedures & installation methodology maintains his close involvement in infrastructure project management.

Scott’s ability to liaise with both management and the direct labour workforce allows him to influence outcomes and deliver common objectives with a cohesive approach.

Scott adds considerable strength to the financial capabilities of the Brighthouse consultancy and his graphic presentation of financial information provides clients of non-accounting backgrounds, clear and definitive financial reporting on project proposals.
