Brighthouse has developed the proprietary Caravan Park Development Analysis Model which is a useful tool for producing feasibility reports. It projects financials on a month by month basis, during and post construction phases, and provides future rates of return, which are essential for project funding. We research competitors by local government area and region as well as benchmarking to similar properties. This ensures that projected occupancy and yields for our projects are as accurate as they can be.

Contemporary and innovative architectural design, by our highly experienced team which includes architects, civil, electrical and hydraulic consultants, ensures high repeat visitation to our clients’ properties and makes them workplaces of choice.

Brighthouse conducts extensive market segmentation studies to provide the right product mix for our clients’ developments. We build flexibility into our designs, so that the properties have wide market appeal. Seasonality is offset by careful attention to product mix and high occupancy units such as holiday-sited cabins are included where appropriate.

  • A Caravan and Camping Strategy - for Western Australia
    Brighthouse was engaged by Tourism WA to conduct a major audit of caravan and camping infrastructure in Western Australia, undertake a gap analysis to ascertain priority needs for the sector and provide a draft caravan and camping strategy to assist planning for the future of this important tourism market segment.
  • Coral Coast Tourist Park - Carnarvon
    Brighthouse worked with the operators of Coral Coast Tourism Park on a masterplan to provide a program for the staged upgrade of the holiday park sites, facilities and accommoddation. Liz and John Watts have brought forward the development plans wiht a state of the art new ablution facility which features individual family bathrooms. The addition of new spa chalets provides more quality accommodation for this popular caravan park.
  • Toodyay Holiday Park and Chalets - Toodyay
    Brighthouse reviewed the operations of the two caravan parks owned and operated by Kevin & Lesley Hug in Toodyay. The result was a plan to develop the Moondyne Caravan Park (renamed Toodyay Holiday Park and Chaletds) into an integrated holiday park/park home park in this peaceful natural location. Our brief included concept caravan park designs, assisting with Shire approvals and consulting on the development.
  • Lake Brockman Tourist Park - Logue Brook Dam , South West , WA 
    The new owners of Lake Brockman Tourist Park called on Brighthouse to assist in Lease negotiations with the Dept of Canservation, prepare a masterplan and business case for the redevelopment of this nature-based caravan and camping facility.
  • Nannup Caravan Park - Nannup 
    The Shire of Nannup engaged Brighthouse to prepare a feasibility study and business case for the Shire's caravan parks' redevelopment. The caravan parks' redevelopment designs were adopted by Council and the Shire is working towards upgrading the two properties according to the Brighthouse proposals.
  • Turner Caravan Park - Augusta, Western Australia
    Brighthouse was appointed Project Consultant and created a caravan park design concept for the redevelopment of this superbly located caravan park, on the edge of the Hardy Inlet in Augusta. We then prepared a Feasibility Study, facilitated community consultation meetings and a Business Plan for the parks' owner's - The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.
  • Cue Caravan Park - Cue
    The Shire of Cue engaged Brighthouse to manage the caravan park design proposals and forward works planning for the redevelopment of the Cue Caravan Park. The new design substantially increased to number of tourist sites and included holiday accommodation units whilst retaining the historic features of the Old Jail and Miner's Huts.
  • Nature’s Hideaway - Middle Lagoon, Kimberly Region WA
    Brighthouse worked with Indigenous Business Australia and the Indigenous Owners to explore opportunities for the development of one on the Kimberley's finest tourism locations. We negotiated with a number of parties interested in developing the property and assisted the owners with a plan to retain the business in family ownership.
  • Ocean Beach Holiday Park - Denmark
    Having commenced a major redevelopment of this outstanding coastal holiday park, the owners engaged Brighthouse to work on the important area of the entry statement, administration complex, recreation area and cafe-shop design.
